Dhanush’s highly anticipated crime drama ‘Kuberaa’, directed by directed by Sekhar Kammula, is finally out in theatres. The film also stars Nagarjuna Akkineni and Rashmika Mandanna. Fans flocked to cinema halls to watch the film’s early shows, and the first reviews of Kuberaa have already started surfacing on social media. The film has taken audience by storm, and netizens took to X (previously Twitter) to share their reviews, calling it a ‘blockbuster’, and praising the film for the cast’s stellar performances, emotional depth and gripping storyline. Some even mentioned that Dhanush deserves a National Award for the role.
Actor Karisma Kapoor is back in Mumbai after attending her ex-husband and businessman Sunjay Kapur’s funeral in New Delhi on June 19. She was accompanied by their children, Samaira and Kiaan, who were visibly broken while performing their father’s last rites on Thursday. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan, too, had accompanied Karisma to the capital.

Actor Madhoo recently reacted to Deepika Padukone’s decision to walk away from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film Spirit. While speaking exclusively to News18 Showsha, she said that it was simply a negotiation that did not work out, and that she sees no reason for a debate about it. She shared that Deepika, being a new mother, asked for an 8-hour shift, but the other party did not agree. According to Madhoo, if Deepika truly wanted the film so bad, she might have been willing to make other arrangements—but since she didn’t, it was her personal choice. She said that negotiations happen every day in the film industry, and that while some deals come through, others don’t.

Congratulations are in order as actor-dancer Lauren Gottlieb has tied the knot with her fiancé Tobias Jones. After getting engaged in August 2023 at Aruba Ocean Villas, Lauren exchanged vows with Tobias Jones, a London-based video creator and director, on June 11. The intimate, dreamy wedding took place in Tuscany, Italy, and was attended by close family and friends. Lauren, best known for her role in Remo D’Souza’s film ABCD (2013), confirmed the news of her wedding in a statement to Hindustan Times. She described the day as a dream come true, mentioning she felt unexpectedly calm before the ceremony.
