Wamiqa Gabbi is busy promoting her next romantic comedy, Bhool Chuk Maaf. It is her first collaboration with Rajkummar Rao. In addition to her entertaining the audience, the actress is making waves with her effortless charisma and great fashion sense for all these events. Her latest appearance was no exception. The actress was seen in a beautiful white and blue saree incorporating the essence of her character.
In the paparazzi video, Wamiqa and Rajkummar were spotted entering the venue. While the actor walked ahead, Wamiqa was seen stopping to pose for the photographers. The actress took some time to fix the pally of her saree while also flaunting the small butterfly designs on it. The butterflies were quite symbolic as her character in the film is named Titli.
Bhool Chuk Maaf is produced by Dinesh Vijan in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios. Karan Sharma directed and wrote the romantic comedy, which will be released in theaters on May 9. The film has already piqued viewers’ interest with its unique premise and fresh pairing of Rajkummar and Wamiqa.
The film is set in Varanasi, with Rajkummar Rao’s character, Ranjan, striving to obtain the approval of Titli and her entire family for marriage by securing a government job. Even though the wedding date has been set, and he wants to get the job as soon as possible, something is definitely wrong. On the day of their wedding, Ranjan discovers he is locked in an eternal time loop. He recognises this, but everyone else, including Titli, is clueless. The story dives into Ranjan’s struggles to get out of this cycle.
Wamiqa has an intriguing list of projects in the works. She will appear in the upcoming spy thriller G2, directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi. This film is a sequel to Adivi Sesh’s popular spy thriller Goodachari from 2018. In addition to G2, Wamiqa has been cast in various other films, including Kikli, Iravaakaalam, Genie, Tiki Taka, Dil Ka Darwaaza Khol Na Darling and Bhooth Bangla.
