Asim Riaz has once again made headlines for the wrong reasons. The Bigg Boss 13 fame actor has reportedly been thrown out of reality show Battleground after a heated argument broke out between him and fellow judges Rubina Dilaik and Abhishek Malhan. The clash, which took place on Thursday (April 17), allegedly got so intense that the production team had to call off the shoot.
This incident comes shortly after Asim was shown the door from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 for reportedly misbehaving with fellow contestants and the show’s host Rohit Shetty. Now, a source told India Today that his temper has landed him in trouble yet again.
“What seemed like a normal tiff slowly became a massive fight,” the source claimed. “Asim allegedly also insulted Rubina Dilaik, who intervened to sort out their differences. As things heated up, they all rushed to their vanity vans, and the shoot had to be called off.”
The source further added that Asim was allegedly asked to leave the show after the chaos. While the makers are reportedly trying to mediate the situation behind the scenes, no final resolution has been reached yet.
When reached for comment, Asim Riaz remained unavailable. Rubina Dilaik, however, tried to downplay the drama and told the portal, “All is well.” Meanwhile, Abhishek Malhan’s team responded by saying they had no information about the incident.
Asim’s growing list of controversies seems to be taking a toll on his career. After gaining popularity as the runner-up of Bigg Boss 13, his subsequent stints on television have been marred with reports of aggressive behavior. His exit from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 shocked fans, especially after his altercations with Abhishek Kumar, Shalin Bhanot, and Karan Veer Mehra on the very first episode.
When crew members tried to pacify him during that show, he reportedly claimed, “The show is getting popular because of me.” Even Rohit Shetty was reportedly irked by his conduct, which eventually led to his ouster.
