Nyrraa Banerji defends Sonu Kakkar after her fallout with Neha and Tony.
Sonu Kakkar’s revelation about her rift with siblings Neha and Tony Kakkar shocked fans, and the discussion around it continues to grow. Now, actress Nyrraa Banerji has weighed in on the situation, sharing her own experience of a strained sibling relationship, while asking netizens not to read too much into the Kakkar family feud.
Nyrraa, who gained popularity through her role in Pishachini and has participated in shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, was recently asked about Sonu’s fallout with her siblings at an event on April 15. Speaking to paparazzo Viral Bhayani, she opened up candidly and said, “Mera bhi mere bhai ke saath bahut jhagda hota hai. Humne bhi 1-2 saal baat nahi ki hai. After a point, you forget. You will come back again for some stupid reason. It’s okay. Let’s not popularise it like a divorce. Blood relations may or may not ever be broken. You never know.”
Reacting to Sonu’s public declaration, Nyrraa spoke about how such emotional moments can be fleeting and shouldn’t be sensationalised. “Yeh saari cheezein emotional highs and lows pe chalti hai. I understand divorce happens in marriage. Sometimes parents and children also get divorced, but we don’t label it. Nowadays, everything has become a term and a fancy word. It should let it be. You never know; they can reunite due to some reason. Yeh publicise karke aap apne blood relations ko deteriorate na kare,” she added.
Sonu Kakkar had recently confirmed her fallout with Tony and Neha on social media, saying she had separated from them but did not wish to discuss the reason publicly.
The now-deleted post, shared on both X and Instagram, read: “Deeply devastated to inform you all that I am no longer a SISTER to the two talented Superstars, Tony Kakkar and Neha Kakkar. This decision of mine comes from a place of deep emotional pain, and I am truly disheartened today”
