Shefali Jariwala, known for the hitmaker Kaanta Laga, passed away on Friday night. Her husband, Parag Tyagi, looked devastated while kissing his wife goodbye one last time and performing the rituals during her last rites. After pleading with the media to pray for his “angel” for a peaceful afterlife, he was spotted outside their house in Andheri.
Last night, Parag was seen kissing his wife Shefali goodbye for one last time. He was seen breaking down while leaving with her mortal remains for the crematorium. Later, he addressed the media, and requested everyone to pray for his “angel”.
After Shefali’s funeral, a devastated Parag appeared in front of the media and requested privacy with folded hands. He also said, “Meri pari ke liye pray kijiyega aap sab log, please.” Parag was surrounded by police personnel while he urged the media to pray for Shefali’s soul to rest in peace.
Expressing her grief, she told IANS, “It’s extremely shocking. I got the news this morning and I was just like… what? A heart attack? Why? What was troubling her? What happened? I have so many questions myself. I knew Parag and Shefali as a couple who always walked together in life. I know them both very well. They were an amazing couple — two beautiful human beings. Honestly, I don’t know what’s happening in the world… why we keep losing such pure souls. It’s deeply, deeply sad. All I can say is — may God bless her family, especially Parag. They were so madly in love. People always looked up to them as that ideal couple. I don’t know how he’s going to cope with this. May God give him all the strength he needs. And may Shefali’s soul rest in peace.”
