Amid the ongoing uproar over Sardaar Ji 3, the All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has issued a strong statement demanding Diljit Dosanjh’s removal from the upcoming patriotic film Border 2. This follows FWICE’s earlier call for industry-wide boycott of the actor-singer over his film’s release in Pakistan and his collaboration with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir.

In an official release, AICWA stated, “You cannot serve two nations. If Diljit has chosen Pakistan, the Indian film industry must choose to reject him.” Referring to the June 27 release of Sardaar Ji 3 in Pakistan, the statement added, “At a time when India is mourning its martyrs and defending its sovereignty, Diljit’s decision to release a film in Pakistan is nothing short of betrayal.”

The association also took issue with Hania Aamir’s inclusion in the film, accusing her of “mocking India” and using “anti-national, derogatory language” after the Indian Army’s Operation Sindoor. “Collaborating with such individuals reflects where Diljit’s loyalties truly lie — and it’s not with India,” the letter read.

Calling Border 2 a tribute to Indian martyrs, AICWA said, “It cannot have traitors in the cast.” The body has urged the film’s producers to make a public announcement confirming Diljit Dosanjh’s removal from the project. “The entire country is watching. The families of our brave soldiers are watching. History will judge your silence,” the letter warned.

AICWA also declared a “lifetime ban” on Diljit Dosanjh from the Indian film industry. “This is not about politics; it’s about patriotism versus betrayal,” they concluded, emphasizing that any collaboration with Pakistani talent should be viewed as an act of treason.

The association reiterated its appeal to the entire Indian film fraternity: “No Indian film should feature artists associated with Pakistan. National integrity must come first.”
