Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are once again making headlines for their sweet social media interaction over Rashmika’s upcoming film Kuberaa. The Telugu-Tamil bilingual, directed by Sekhar Kammula, stars Dhanush and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles and is set to release in theatres on June 20, 2025.
Ahead of the release, Vijay took to his social media platform to extend support to the film and praise the filmmaker. “Wishing #Kuberaa all the very best as it heads to the big screen. Sekhar Kammula sir will always be a special name in my journey — he gave many actors like me hope,” he wrote.
He further added, “To see him now telling a story on this scale, with a cast filled with personal favourites like Dhanush, Nagarjuna Akkineni sir, Rashmika Mandanna — has me excited 🙂 Sending all my love and best wishes to the entire team. Can’t wait to watch it in theatres.”
Rashmika, who shares a close bond with Vijay, was quick to respond with a cheerful message. She wrote, “Thaaaaankieeee Vijay Deverakonda. Fingers crossed.” Her sweet reply has left fans swooning, especially after the duo was recently spotted twinning in blue at the airport—adding fuel to ongoing relationship rumours.
Kuberaa is described as a social thriller that revolves around the lives of a beggar and a CBI officer who find themselves entangled in a twisted tale involving a business tycoon’s money. Rashmika is said to play a significant role in the story, which also features Jim Sarbh and Dilip Tahil.
