Abhijeet Bhattacharya needs no introduction. The melodious singer has given Bollywood gems like Tumhe Jo Maine Dekha, Dhoom Taana, Main Koi Aisa Geet Gaaon, Suno Na Suno, Chand Taare, Tauba Tumhare Ishare and Husn Hai Suhana, among others. His soothing vocals undoubtedly struck a chord with listeners of all age groups and continents. Having said that, the singer was recently spotted at Mumbai airport, flying out to Milan before his much-awaited concert.
In the video shared on Instagram, the 66-year-old was seen heading towards the airport with his suitcases. Abhijeet was seen clad in an all-black outfit, featuring a denim jacket and trousers. Adding a pop of colour, he wore black and yellow coloured shoes with a blue strapped watch. His gold accessories and sunglasses completed his oh-so-cool look.
Before entering the airport, Abhijeet Bhattacharya didn’t disappoint fans and clicked pictures with them, exuding his million-dollar smile.
Not long ago, the singer shared that he bumped into an Italian ISKCON Swamiji in Milan. He dropped a video on Instagram that captured his conversation with Swamiji. In the video, Abhijeet was heard saying, “Namaskar Swamiji, He is from ISKCON, we are in Milan. Our ISKCON temple is here somewhere?”
To which the swami replied, “Yes, we are touring to go to them. There is a Govinda restaurant.” Abhijeet, who was visibly surprised, said, “Wow, even Govinda restaurant is here in Milan. You have what? Prasad and Bhog are there. That’s a total like what we get in India. Govinda, same food.” He responded, “We have Kirtan and Prasad.” At the end, the singer revealed, “Swamiji is from Milan, he is an Italian. Jai Shri Krishna. Hare Krishna. Hare Rama. Thank you.”
Sharing the clip, Abhijeet captioned, “Crossed paths with an Italian Swamiji, #harekrishnaharerama.”
Coming to Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s live concert Hexagon, the singer is all set for an electrifying performance in Reading, England. The much-anticipated event will take place on Saturday, June 21, at 6 PM. Located in Queens Walk, RG1 7QF, music lovers and Bollywood fans can purchase the tickets at just £38 (Rs 4,400).
