A new Instagram trend involves lesser-known faces flaunting their famous family members. As the “holyfknairball” or the “holyfcknairball” trend gained momentum on the social media site, several users claimed to be related to top celebrities like Anushka Sharma, Malaika Arora and Madhuri Dixit. While it is unlikely that most of these Instagrammers are distant relatives of the actors, their Reels have gone viral on the site.
A young Instagram user claimed that she is Anushka Sharma’s sister. Someone wrote in the comments section, “Iska zizuuu virat kohli haii😭😭.” She replied, “Haan.” She confirmed in the comments that she is Anushka’s sister. However, there is a catch. Have a look at the Reel here first:
The video received interesting comments, especially related to Virat Kohli. One person wrote, “Virat bhai ka phone no. de do.” Another mentioned, “If she’s in their ‘family’, why don’t they follow her? 😭🙏” Another replied, “Maybe they don’t know she’s her cousin.” One comment read, “Views maang ri hai 😁.” Another wrote, “Fek utna hi jitna ki lapet sako.” Someone with the surname Tiwari wrote, “Fir main Kartik Aryan Tiwari & Ankit Tiwari ki relative hui😭.”
Another commented, “Didi Virat Kohli ka autograph dila do aur ho sake toh Dhoni sir ka bhi.” One wrote, “Jiju se bolo retirement wapas le lein.” Another added, “Apne jiju ko bolo ab bhi time hai algorithm par blame daal kar test retirement waapis lelo.” Someone else wrote, “Virat Kohli se meetup karado.” Another mentioned, “Virat Kohli ke saath ek selfie dila sakti ho????”
However, the Instagrammer later confirmed that she was only joking in her Reel. She ‘liked’ a comment that read, “Damn the joke went flying over everyone’s head in the comment section 💔🥀.” As this Reel went viral, several others also made similar videos about being related to Anushka Sharma.
Several other young Instagrammers took a spin on this viral trend and claimed to be related to the likes of Malaika Arora and Madhuri Dixit. Their videos received fun comments from other social media users who also joked about being related to famous celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh.
