Singer Neha Kakkar, a popular name in the music industry, is busy celebrating her parents’ wedding anniversary. On Saturday, Neha posted a few pictures and clips on her social media handle that adequately sum up the older couple’s love throughout the years. Sharing the pictures, Neha wrote, “Happiest Anniversary to my Cutest Parents!!!!” Many of her followers also took this opportunity to wish her parents well.
The carousel featured a clip of Neha Kakkar’s father singing for her mother, the duo dancing or chatting away candidly. The post also had clips of them heading for a vacation and walking hand in hand at exotic locations. On the other hand, Neha’s sister Sonu Kakkar also posted a special wish for her parents. She shared pictures of herself with her parents as well as a beautiful portrait of the duo. In the caption, she wrote, “Happy Anniversary Mamma Papa.”
Meanwhile, the Kakkar siblings were recently in the limelight for their conflict. In an unexpected turn of events, singer Sonu Kakkar has revealed that she is severing relations with her younger siblings, Neha Kakkar and Tony Kakkar. She posted on X (formerly Twitter) that she is no longer their sister and is ‘devastated’ to inform her followers. She went on to say that her decision was motivated by intense emotional distress. In a now deleted post, she wrote, “Deeply devastated to inform you all that I am no longer a SISTER to the two talented Superstars, Tony Kakkar and Neha Kakkar. This decision of mine comes from a place of deep emotional pain, and I am truly disheartened today.”
Sonu Kakkar has worked professionally with Tony and Neha Kakkar in the past. She is noted for songs like Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo, Yeh Kasoor, and Akhiyan Nu Rehn De, among others. Sonu has also sung in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi and Nepali. On the other hand, Neha Kakkar began her career with the second season of ‘Indian Idol’ in 2005. Since then, she has lent her vocals to numerous Bollywood songs. Some of her most popular songs include Kala Chashma, Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi, and O Saki Saki among others.
