Popular actor and host Aman Verma has seen the evolution of entertainment rather closely. Recently, he took to Instagram and shared a video from his magician gig at an event. In the comments, a section of his followers job-shamed him. But he isn’t the one to let the trolls slide. In the comment box, he replied to them in his capacity. He also mentioned that he is steadily on the way to becoming a magician.
An elated Aman was seen impressing fans with magic tricks at an event. “Well this is where i learnt the tricks of being a magician. Was a little difficult, but managed. Its all in the Sleight of the hands… Ladies and gentlemen Here comes the magician … called AMAN YATAN VERMA,” he proudly proclaimed. Watch the video here:
While a section of his fans praised him and received heartwarming responses from the actor, other social media users mocked his magician’s act. “Itne talented actor ko kya kya karna padta hai, I feel sad for him,” wrote a fan. Aman was quick to reply, “Kaam mere bhai kaam total hai. Chota kya aur bada kya. If I tell u the amount of money I got for doin this, u will come and take place of the assistant who came and gave me the bottle. Samjhe chahu.”
“Bhaisahab ye kis line mein aa gaye aap (Which line of work have you come into?),” asked a concerned fan. The Baabul actor replied, “Paapi pet ka sawaal hai dost. Kya karein?” Yet another user called him “Naklee admi (fake person)”. Aman calmly replied, “Aajkal meri jaan, aasli hai kaun ? Sab log mukhauta laga kar ji rahein hain (Who isn’t fake these days? Everyone is wearing masks).”
After working as a model, Aman Verma eventually became the face of many iconic ads in the early 90s. Soon after, he played a pivotal role in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and appeared in films such as Baghban, among several other projects. He then hosted the game show Khullja Sim Sim, which catapulted his fame overnight.
