In a recently released promo by Colors TV, Krushna broke down in tears while expressing his gratitude for his aunt, Geeta Aunty, who raised him and his sister, Aarti Singh, after the untimely demise of their mother.
The heartfelt promo, shared on the official Instagram page of Colors TV, shows contestants Ankita Lokhande, Elvish Yadav, Nia Sharma, and Samarth Jurel joyfully cooking alongside their mothers, celebrating the spirit of motherhood. However, the tone shifts as Krushna Abhishek shares his deeply personal story.
In the video, Krushna can be seen holding his aunt tightly as he recalls the promise she made to his late mother. He said, “Jab mai 2 saal ka tha, aur meri mother expire ho gayi. Geeta aunty, inhone meri mother ko promise kiya tha, ‘Tumhare bacho ko mai bada karungi.’ Jab Aarti ki abhi shaadi hui thi toh inhone kaha, ‘Maine apna vaada pura kiya.’” (When I was two years old, my mother passed away. Geeta Aunty promised my mother, ‘I will raise your children.’ When Aarti recently got married, she said, ‘I have fulfilled my promise.’)
With tears in his eyes, Krushna added, “Friendship ki asli missal. I love you aur aaj puri duniya ke beech mei yeh kehna chahta hu. Aur khana banana inhone hi sikhaya muje.” (She is the true example of a real friend. I love you, and I want to say this in front of the whole world today. Also, she was the one who taught me cooking.)
Aarti Singh also shared this emotional moment on her Instagram handle, expressing her deep appreciation for their aunt, calling her a true symbol of friendship and motherhood. She wrote, “Salute to motherhood and friendship. Love you, momma and Chui,” tagging her brother, sister-in-law Kashmera Shah, and Geeta Aunty. Adding, “Kashmera and Krush you both have given immense respect to her. We all want love and admiration for love and dedication and u both have given that.”
