Ayesha Khan is a popular face in the entertainment industry. The actress made her debut in Balveer Returns, but the turning point in her career came after she appeared in Bigg Boss 17. Ayesha gained massive popularity during her time on the show. She has also starred in films like Sunny Deol’s Jaat. Previously, Ayesha had signed Lucky Baskhar, where she was set to appear on screen opposite Dulquer Salmaan. But she wasn’t seen in the Telugu movie.
During an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, the actress has finally revealed the reason for her absence from the movie. “That film has already been released, and the dates did not match,” Ayesha disclosed.
The Telugu movie starred Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role along with Meenakshi Chaudhury and Tinu Anand. The film depicts the story of a lower middle-class man who becomes a part of scams while he struggles to support his family in the midst of heavy debt and humiliation.
Although Ayesha couldn’t be a part of Lucy Baskhar, she expressed her excitement about her upcoming projects. The actress is currently part of the drama Dil Ko Rafuu Kar Lei. This show also features Karan V. Grover in a prominent role.
Talking about the success of her show, Ayesha told Pinkvilla that she had trust in the content since they started shooting. “The first episode has crossed 9 million views. Honestly speaking, I had trust in the content that we were shooting and the inputs we were putting in,” she stated.
The actress also revealed that she was unsure whether the show would reach the right audience. “It was not exactly TV, so my whole assumption was that if this reaches the right audience, then it will work,” Ayesha stated, expressing gratitude for the show finding its target audience. Previously, the actress was part of Mukhachitram, Jaat, Kasauti Zindagi Kay and Balveer Returns. Ayesha Khan has Vachinavadu Goutham in the pipeline with Ajay and Murli Sharma.
