As he stepped out of his hotel in New York City, fans gathered outside erupted in loud cheers, chanting “SRK! SRK!” in unison. The superstar, known for his effortless charm, responded with warm smiles, flying kisses, and even shook hands with some lucky fans.

But what truly stood out was a bold statement neckpiece emblazoned with the letter ‘K’, a powerful nod to his moniker, “King Khan.”

The crowd outside the venue was overwhelmed by the moment, with many calling it “surreal” to see King Khan rule the Met steps. Videos from the scene show fans screaming in excitement, some even in tears, as SRK acknowledged them with his signature grace. His debut has instantly become one of the most talked-about moments of the night. Much to his fans’ delight, the actor also struck his iconic pose on the red carpet.

Earlier, members of the SRK Universe fan group gathered outside the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City on Monday, holding posters and chanting slogans in support of the superstar. Even heavy rain didn’t dampen their spirits, with fans seen standing soaked but smiling, hoping to catch a glimpse of the actor ahead of his debut.

Alongside Shah Rukh Khan, other prominent Indian attendees at this year’s Met Gala include Priyanka Chopra, Kiara Advani, Diljit Dosanjh, Isha Ambani and Natasha Poonawalla. The annual event, held at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, supports the Costume Institute and is curated around a specific fashion theme.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his next film, King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film features Suhana Khan, Abhay Verma, Abhishek Bachchan, and Arshad Warsi in pivotal roles.
