Actress Helly Shah’s character in her new show Zyada Mat Udd appears to be already a hit among her fans. The show, which airs on ColorsTV and JioHotstar, explores the lives of a cabin crew in an airline. In a new promo video shared by ColorsTV, Shah’s character makes a hilarious in-flight announcement, which has viewers thoroughly entertained. Shah’s character, an air hostess named Kajal, can be seen giving instructions to the passengers on the flight.
She begins the in-flight announcement professionally, greeting everyone with a “Good morning,” but quickly diverts from the script. “What’s good about the morning?” she rhetorically asks, before moving on the standard safety procedures.
Soon, her tone shifts dramatically. “There are two emergency exits on this flight,” she says, before adding, “but in a real-life emergency, it’s probably better to crash and not survive than to try escaping the situation.”
Her comment catches everyone off guard, including her fellow crew members. She continues with similarly surprising remarks while explaining the safety protocols. “In the event of oxygen loss, masks will drop and you must help yourself before assisting others. That’s because the world is selfish,” she pointedly adds.
The caption of this promo read, “We all have that one friend jiska break up ke baad duniya se vishwas uth jaata hai!” This indicates that Kajal was going through a heartbreak that prompted her to say those things during the announcement.
The post, made on Friday, has fetched nearly 10,000 likes. The comment section is filled with viewers praising the script writing.
Zyada Mat Udd also features Shehzada Shaikh and Aishwarya Sakhuja in key roles. The show majorly revolves around Goldie, a rich, spoiled son of an airline owner. In a bid to prove his mettle, Goldie takes on the role of an obedient cabin crew member to prove himself worthy to be the CEO of his father’s company. The storyline will focus on his journey as well as the lives of the fellow cabin crew members and their equation with each other.
The show, which began airing on March 8, can be watched every Saturday and Sunday at 11 PM.
