Sujay Reu’s portrayal of Lord Ram in Shrimad Ramayan received positive feedback from the audience from the show’s inception last year. While the show ended, his fans were eager to see him back on screen. While there is no news about the actor’s upcoming projects, in a latest interview, Sujay expressed his interest in working on reality shows and taking a break from the mythological genre.

In an interview with ETimes, Sujay Reu stated, “Reality TV shows are fun! I would love to try something like Khatron Ke Khiladi or Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Even a cooking-based show like Celebrity MasterChef sounds exciting. For me, learning and growing through the process is what matters most. If a show challenges me or helps me learn a new skill, it’s worth doing.”

But Sujay has set some boundaries when it comes to these shows and stated that he was not ready to do a show like Bigg Boss. He added, “I’d rather stay away from that concept. I’m more inclined toward experiences that focus on personal growth and artistic exploration.”

In the same interview, the actor noted that his career in acting was never planned. He mentioned that he performed on stage for the first time during his college days and was quite happy. He shared “I was mesmerized by the thrill of performing, the opportunity to express creatively and the satisfaction of bringing stories to life. And I was sure to pursue acting as a career. Later, I took training in acting.” At the same time the actor started auditioning and unexpectedly got selected for debut show. He felt that he was not ready at the time but was glad that the viewers accepted him.

He made his acting debut in the 2012 film Preet Se Bandhi Yeh Dori…Ram Milayi Jodi, playing Anukalp Gandhi. With prominent performances in shows such as Siya Ke Ram and Baal Shiv.
