Allu Arjun, renowned for his iconic performances in the South Indian film industry, had recently visited Mumbai for WAVES 2025. After attending the event, the actor was spotted at the Mumbai airport. A video of the actor has gone viral, showing him in a hurry and declining a fan’s request for a selfie. While the moment happened in a jiffy, the internet was quite disappointed with his behaviour. Social media users called him out for being rude for not cooperating.
In an Instagram video posted by a paparazzi, Allu Arjun can be seen entering the airport grounds. He was surrounded by tight security. The actor appeared to be in a hurry, but greeted the photographers briefly. He also refused a selfie with a fan who had approached him and later one of the security personnel guided the man outside. This did not sit well with many users online. One of them commented saying, “He is so fake such fake smile,” while another stated, “He seems still in Pushpa’s character.” Some also defended the actor saying, “May be getting late for flight.”
Allu Arjun chose a plain white T-shirt with a graphic pattern in black. He paired it with loose-fitting cargo pants with side pockets. In terms of accessories, he chose ultra-cool black sunglasses, a silver neckchain and a wrist watch.
On the work front, Allu Arjun will be working with filmmaker Atlee in the film which is tentatively titled AA22xA6. The film, billed as a sci-fi actioner, is a pan-India production by Sun Pictures. It is planned to include cutting-edge visuals and be released theatrically.
The actor surprised fans with the announcement on his birthday. He shared about AA22XA6 via an Instagram video. The clip gathered expert VFX artists under one roof, who took turns sharing their ideas on the script. The caption read, “Gear up for the Landmark Cinematic Event…#AA22xA6 – A Magnum Opus from Sun Pictures.”
Allu Arjun was last seen in Pushpa 2, which also starred Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil in prominent roles. The film, which was released in December of last year, performed well commercially.
