It is no secret that before being married to Apurva Padgaonkar, Divya Agarwal was in a relationship with Varun Sood. After the two parted ways, the actress was attacked by many on social media and was asked about the reason for their breakup. Years later, Divya Agarwal finally revealed why she and Varun parted ways.
A video of Divya Agarwal from one of her recent interviews has surfaced on social media in which she is seen clarifying that she and Varun broke up because things were not working out between the two. “Nahi jamm raha tha yaar. Nahi jamm raha tha. Zabardasti thodi na rahungi main,” she said.
Divya was also joined in the interview by her husband, Apurva, who also came out in her support and added, “What is the problem? It wasn’t working out. People had a problem with her splitting. They had a problem with her marrying me also. They have a problem with everything. Two people, who are living together unhappily, decide to part ways and live happily, is the most beautiful thing. How is it wrong?”
Divya Agarwal and Varun Sood dated each other in the past but announced their breakup in March 2022. Back then, the Bigg Boss OTT fame issued a statement announcing that she and Varun were no longer dating each other.
Later in June 2023, Divya finally revealed what happened between her and Varun. She admitted having a ‘confusion’ and revealed that their ‘abrupt’ breakup was because of her.
“With Varun, I felt all over the place. With Apurva, I would feel calm and mature. I made Varun meet Apurva. I told him clearly that I had a problem. I had a confusion. Whatever has happened is very wrong and it has happened because of me. I need to put a stop somewhere. And that’s why it was an abrupt break-up. I just got the car to a screeching halt,” Divya said when she appeared on Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol’s podcast.
