However, on his 5th death anniversary, his family members are sharing throwback photos and recalling him. Riddhima Kapoor also shared a photo and mentioned how much she misses him, saying ‘Quiett Mushk’.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Riddhima wrote, “Miss you saying quiet Mushk’ Love you everyday’. Earlier, Neetu Kapoor shared photos and wrote, “Miss you Kapoor sahab.” In another photo, Rishi is seen posing with Raj Bansal. And in third, Rishi Kapoor is seen with his daughter, granddaughter, and others. Recently, Neetu had also shared a throwback photo from their engagement day in 1979. The Jug Jugg Jeeyo actor flashed the brightest smile as she posed beside her then soon-to-be-husband in the photo.

Riddhima had expressed admiration for her mother, Neetu Kapoor, saying she managed the situation with resilience despite judgment from those unaware of their grief. She reflected on the insensitivity of such comments, sharing, “People used to say to us, ‘Oh, they look so happy, and they are going out, and they are doing this.’ But you have to come home and see what happens.”
n an earlier conversation with Siddharth Kannan on YouTube, Riddhima revealed that, following Rishi Kapoor’s death, family members refrained from displaying their emotions openly. Despite this, the experience brought them closer. She recounted, “We used to go to separate rooms and cry, like take it all out and then come and then just be normal or act normal, but it has gotten us really close.”
Rishi Kapoor passed away in 2020 after a long battle with cancer. Riddhima, who has traditionally avoided the limelight and established a career in jewelry design, recently stepped into showbiz through Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives Season 3.
