Since welcoming her first child, Leela, Drashti has been delighting her fans with sweet glimpses of her little one’s adorable moments. Now, she shared an adorable peek into her life with her six-month-old daughter, Leela. In her latest heartwarming update, Drashti took to her Instagram handle to share a delightful clip showcasing Leela’s current favourite toys. The video offered a charming glimpse into what brings joy to her baby girl.
According to the doting mother, little Leela is currently fascinated by a variety of toys. It includes colourful pinwheels, engaging finger puppets, an interactive peek-a-boo elephant plush toy, a textured development bumpy ball, a shape-changing pop fidget, sensory balls designed to stimulate her senses, soothing teethers, a squeezable soft toy, and fidget spinners.
With the endearing video, the actress also penned an elaborate note reflecting on her journey as a mother to a six-month-old.
She shared the post alongside the caption, “As Leela turns 6 months, I thought it’d be lovely to start sharing the little things that are working for us – from toys and clothes to small everyday routines. Nothing fancy, just a space to swap mommy hacks, learn from each other and navigate this beautiful (and slightly crazy) journey together. At the moment, we are figuring out what makes her giggle, reach out, and stay curious – and let’s be honest, also what doesn’t end up in her mouth in under 3 seconds?”
The Madhubala actress celebrated Leela’s birthday on April 24 as she turned six months old. She offered a wholesome glimpse from the celebrations on her official Instagram account. In the pic, the little one is seen beautifully dressed sitting in front of her blue cake.
With the picture, she penned a heartfelt note reflecting on her motherhood journey. “There are places in the heart you don’t even know exist until you love a child. – Anne Lamott. And now I know what this means. I was your home for 9 months, but now you are my home forever. I love you, Leela. Happy 6 months to you and me,” she wrote.
Drashti Dhami got married to businessman Neeraj Khemka in 2015. Nearly a decade after their happy marriage, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child. The avid social media user shared photos and videos during her pregnancy journey in the months leading up to giving birth to keep her fans updated. Finally, she embraced motherhood with the birth of her baby girl, Leela, on October 22, 2024.
