Bigg Boss 18 fame Karan Veer Mehra has been receiving wrath from social media users after he recited a poem on Hindu-Muslim relations, condemning the Pahalgam terror attack. Written by actor Ashutosh Rana, the poem talks about terrorists dividing the nation on the basis of their religions.
Now, YouTuber Elvish Yadav replied to Karan Veer’s post on X and slammed the Television actor.
Lashing out at Karan Veer Mehra, Elvish wrote, “Pakistan se vote aaye the kya bhai?” This led fans of both celebrities to come out in their support.
A person supporting Karan Veer Mehra said, “Stop spreading hate…understand the essence of what #KaranVeerMehra is highlighting it is the difference between humanity and terrorism…Being an Indian humanity needs to be your religion first…so get over your nonsense also it’s been over 3 months now.”
Another added, “Here’s a question. Who’s more obsessed with Karan? KVM Family or this questionable person? Bolo bolo tell tell.”
On the other hand, fans of Elvish dropped comments like, “Old elvish is back… Proud of you brother” and “Well said.”
Visibly emotional, Karan Veer Mehra shared the minute-long video without a caption but with a broken-hearted emoji. He began the recitation by saying, “Baat diya iss dharti ko, Kya chand-sitaaron ka hoga? Nadiyon ko kuch naam diye, behti dharon ka kya hoga?”
“Koi Hindu hai, koi Musalman, koi Sikh toh koi Issai. Bas humne insaan na hone ki hai kasam khayi,” the TV actor concluded.
