On Tuesday, April 22, a tragic incident unfolded in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, turning what was intended to be a peaceful day for tourists into a horrific ordeal. Terrorists opened fire in the afternoon at Baisaran, resulting in the deaths of at least 26 individuals, the majority of whom were visitors from other states. Among the victims were two foreigners and two locals, according to official reports. The attack has deeply shocked the nation, sparking widespread grief and calls for decisive action against those responsible for this brutal act. Many celebrities have expressed their condolences to the grieving families and voiced their concerns over the violence.

This senseless violence against innocent lives contradicts the peace Islam teaches. My prayers are with the victims and their families. We must unite against such evil.”

Actor Arjun Bijlani condemned the attack and questioned why such a peaceful place had to face this horror.

“I strongly condemn the recent attacks in Kashmir. Wishing a swift recovery to the injured and extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. Why turn a place we call heaven on earth into hell ..! #Pahalgam,” he wrote on X.

Comedian Munawar Faruqui took a strong stand and demanded punishment for those responsible. On Instagram Stories, he wrote, “Find them Hang them!!!”
