Rubina Dilaik indulged in a playful interaction with the paps after spotting ripe mangoes on a tree at the sets of Laughter Chefs.

Rubina Dilaik, who hails from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, has proved her acting mettle with appearances in several television shows and films. Currently, she is one of the contestants in the cooking reality show, Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment. Now, in one of the videos that surfaced on social media, she was seen expressing her love for ripe mangoes while interacting with the paps.
In the video on Instagram, Rubina Dilaik was stopped by the paps before entering the sets of Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment. She was then seen indulging with the paps stationed over there while posing for the lens. The video began with the actress expressing her shock upon spotting the mangoes in the trees reportedly beside the paps, mentioning, “Oh my God Aam.” But soon after a pap informed her that they were not allowed to pluck the mangoes, the actress asked, “Kyu? Usmein kya hai? (Why? What’s in it?)” adding, “Haa main khayungi (Yes, I will eat).”
The Chotti Bahu actress even mentioned, “Aur per se tode huye phal mein toh matlab swad bhi alag hota hai (And the taste of the freshly plucked fruits are simply different),” showcasing her love for fresh farm produce. The video was liked by many of her fans and it also proves Dilaik’s connection to her roots.
For the day, Dilaik stunned in a black-hued lehenga choli adorned with golden embellishments all over it. She teamed it with a full-sleeved blouse that featured a plunging neckline, and a sheer dupatta in matching hues. The diva accessorised her look with Kundan jewellery, including a maang teeka and a pair of jhumkas. She left her tresses open and middle-parted to cascade down her shoulders alongside glam makeup, which included winged eyes, peach-toned lipstick and a small bindi.
This is not the first time when Punar Vivah – Ek Nayi Umeed actress showcased her love for her roots. Previously, she dropped a video on Instagram, featuring the veggies grown following organic practices in her hometown in Himachal Pradesh. In the clip captioned as ‘Ghar ki kheti’, she was seen holding a huge bottle gourd (lauki), followed by a bowl full of “arbi ke patte” (taro leaves) and bhindi (okra). This instantly grabbed her fans’ attention.
Not only this, the mother of twin daughters – Jeeva and Edhaa, Rubina and her husband, Abhinav Shukla even opted for keeping their kids in Himachal. Revealing the reason behind the same, she highlighted the importance of the fresh atmosphere and healthy foods in the growing period of any child, in several interviews and podcasts. This decision even highlighted the actress’ commitment to providing a healthy environment to her daughters amid the presence of her close ones.
