Rajat Dalal feels Vivian Dsena deserved to win Bigg Boss 18 more than Karan Veer Mehra
Bigg Boss 18 contestant Rajat Dalal recently featured on ‘Insider With Faisu’, and during the conversation with Faisal Shaikh, he said that he doesn’t feel Karan Veer Mehra’s win on Bigg Boss was based on public votes. While he said he wasn’t sure how it happened- whether it was a software glitch or something else- he believes the show was won because of his personality, not the votes. He also said that Vivian was a more deserving winner, because his personality stayed the same throughout the show, and never budged from his decisions.
In a conversation with ‘Insider With Faisu’, Rajat Dalal was asked whether he thinks Karan Veer Mehra won based on public votes. Rajat replied, “Mereko kahi se kahi tak nahi lagta ki votes ke aadhar par cheezein hui hain. Ek hota hai na, sachchai ke saath vote hui ho, procedure sahi chala ho. Ya to koi software ka chakkar tha ya kuchh tha. Mujhe nahi pata. Pehli baar aisa hua hai ki Bigg Boss ka show votes ke adhaar pe nahi, personality ke aadhaar pe jeeta gaya hai. (I don’t feel like things happened based on votes. Like the voting happened truthfully, that the procedure was followed properly. Either there was some software glitch or something else. I don’t know. For the first time, it felt like the Bigg Boss show was not won based on votes but based on personality).”
He then added, “Karan Veer ko jo banda represent karne aaya tha press conference mein, agar wo khud bol raha hai votes ke aadhar pe vijeta nahi bana. Andar ki cheezein mujhe nahi pata. (The person who came to represent Karan Veer in the press conference, even he said that the winner wasn’t decided based on votes. I don’t know the inside stuff).”
During the conversation, Rajat also mentioned that he felt Vivian Dsena deserved to win, more than Karan Veer. He praised Vivian for staying true to himself, and staying firm on his decisions no matter what. “Ek insaan ke taur pe jaise bhi the, wo waise hi rahe. Chaahe Bigg Boss ne kitni koshish kari, aage jaake Nouran Bhabhi aayi, unki dost bhi aayi Weekend Ke Vaar pe. Bohot kuchh bolke jaati thi, par wo apne decision pe tas se mas nahi hote the. (As a person, however he was, he remained that way. No matter how much Bigg Boss tried, later on when Nouran Bhabhi came, even his friend came on Weekend Ka Vaar. They would say a lot of things, but he wouldn’t budge from his decision),” said Rajat.
While Karan Veer Mehra emerged as the winner of the show, Vivian Dsena and Rajat Dalal were the first and the second runners-up respectively. Other contestants in the finale were Avinash Mishra, Chum Darang and Eisha Singh.
