ShowKeen, an exhibition showcasing India’s rich and extraordinary artistic collection turns into a star-studded evening as Bollywood celebrities make their appearance on the red carpet.

ShowKeen, a premier exhibition showcasing modern and contemporary Indian art has recently brought together an extraordinary collection of artistic wonders. Presented by AstaGuru Auction House, this artistic event invited an exclusive lineup of Bollywood stars. Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Suhana Khan, Farah Khan, Anita Shroff Adajania among other stars graced the red carpet with their presence.
“ShowKeen is a celebration of artistic mastery across time – where the revolutionary works of modern Indian art stand alongside the bold expressions of contemporary Indian artists,” AstaGuru Auction House CMO Manoj Mansukhani told The Week. He further explained that with ShowKeen, AstaGuru is set to offer a space where new artistic movements take centre stage and where art can be experienced as well. This auction featured nearly 72 masterpieces by 40 pioneering artists of the modern era.
Film director and producer Karan Johar recently took to social media to share his experience at the artistic event. “At the beautifully curated ShowKeen exhibit by @astaguru..@putlu put together a supremely elegant evening that brought artistic and aesthetic minds together to celebrate the rise and shine of contemporary art and artists and applaud the magic of the masters..” Karan Johar wrote.
The evening was further graced by Bollywood’s most powerful and influential women. Gauri Khan, Neelam Kothari and Seema Sajdeh among others were present at the gala. Moreover, Bollywood’s favourite couples Bobby Deol with wife Tanya Deol, Sanjay Kapoor with Maheep Kapoor, and Chunky Pandey with wife Bhavna Pandey were also spotted at the event. With such influential figures’ presence at the event, AstaGuru has become not only a major art event but also a celebration and preservation of India’s rich culture and heritage. ShowKeen is not just an art exhibition but provides the attendees with an exclusive experience with expert-led walkthroughs and insightful discussions. The ShowKeen exhibition presented by AstaGuru Auction House will run for two days – 19th and 20th April 2025 at Nehru Centre in Mumbai.
