Jaat Box Office Collection Day 5.
Jaat Movie Box Office Collections: Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda’s latest film Jaat was one of the most anticipated releases of the year and it made a decent opening. The action-packed drama, that released on April April 10, 2025, is storming the box office and now, just five days in, it’s eyeing that sweet Rs 50 crore mark. Gopichand Malineni’s debut Bollywood directorial, Jaat, has crossed the Rs 45 crore mark after a strong Monday.
Even with the Monday slowdown, Jaat didn’t back down! Trade reports say the film raked in a solid Rs 7 to Rs 7.5 crore on Day 5 which is not bad for a weekday grind. That pushes the total to a whopping Rs 47 crore so far.
Jaat kicked things off strong with Rs 9.5 crore on Day 1, and while Friday dipped a bit to Rs 7 crore, the weekend came through like a champ! Saturday saw a boost with Rs 9.75 crore, and Sunday absolutely roared with Rs 14 crore which was a solid 43.59 per cent jump! The film even saw a 15.53 per cent occupancy, possibly thanks to Ambedkar Jayanti giving folks a holiday excuse to hit the theatres.
Jaat is an action thriller film written and directed by Gopichand Malineni (in his Hindi film debut) and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory. The film stars Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda, alongside Saiyami Kher, Regina Cassandra, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Vineet Kumar Singh, Prashant Bajaj, Zarina Wahab, P. Ravi Shankar and Babloo Prithiveeraj.
The story follows Brigadier Baldev Pratap Singh, fondly known as “Jaat,” who is en route from Chennai to Ayodhya by train when an unexpected accident halts the journey at a small village near Chirala. Stepping off the train for a quick meal, he finds himself caught in a heated scuffle with Ranatunga, also known as Muthuvel Karikalan—a former Deputy Commander of the Jaffna Tiger Force. Ranatunga now rules the village with an iron fist, backed by corrupt local police.
As Jaat spends time in the village, he begins to witness the fear and suffering etched into the lives of its people. Unwilling to stand by, he takes a stand against the oppressive regime. What follows is a gripping showdown between the righteous brigadier and the ruthless warlord.
A part of Jaat’s review by News18 read, “Action fans can rejoice because this is one film that delivers every dhishoom-dhishoom fantasy you’ve had since the ’90s. The punches land, the enemies fly, and the background score screams intense. The rising tension and explosive clash between Jaat and Rana Thunga fuels pure adrenaline. The thunderous background score and bone-crunching action sequences demand your full attention.”
