Priyanka Chopra Jonas is adding another Hollywood comedy to her impressive lineup. The global star is now part of Nicholas Stoller’s upcoming Amazon MGM Studios film, alongside Michael Peña. The movie also stars Will Ferrell and Zac Efron in lead roles, with Regina Hall, Jimmy Tatro, and Billy Eichner rounding out the ensemble cast.

The film, written and directed by Nicholas Stoller, known for hits like Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Neighbors, marks his latest collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios after his recent comedy You’re Cordially Invited starring Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon.
The film, which was previously titled Judgment Day, is centered around a gripping and hilarious premise. It follows a young convict, played by Zac Efron, who takes over an unscripted courtroom reality show. The reason? He’s convinced that the show’s judge, played by Will Ferrell, once gave a verdict that completely ruined his life. What follows is expected to be a chaotic, darkly funny ride.
While the roles of Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Michael Peña are being kept tightly under wraps, their inclusion has already stirred excitement among fans and industry watchers. Production is being handled by Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, and Alex Brown under their Gloria Sanchez Productions banner, along with Stoller through his Stoller Global Solutions.
This project is yet another feather in the cap for Priyanka, who continues to strengthen her bond with Amazon MGM Studios. She is also set to headline The Bluff, directed by Frank E. Flowers, and Heads of State, an action film co-starring John Cena and Idris Elba. She previously starred in the global thriller series Citadel alongside Richard Madden and will soon be seen in SS Rajamouli’s SSMB29 with Mahesh Babu.
As for Peña, the A Million Miles Away star recently appeared in Landman and the feature film A Working Man, currently running in theatres.
