Huma Qureshi seemed annoyed with Babil Khan
Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan and actress Huma Qureshi were among the many celebrities who attended a charity costume party in Mumbai last night. An awkward interaction between the two actors was caught on video and it instantly went viral. The video shows Huma and Babil posing together before leaving from the venue. Babil confronted Huma about someone not calling him, and asked if the person was angry with him. Huma, visibly uncomfortable, attempted to avoid the conversation, and replied evasively. As Babil walked away, Huma was overheard telling a friend that she wants to ‘slap that boy’. The video of their conversation has sparked a frenzy on social media.
The viral video shows Huma Qureshi and Babil Khan stepping out after the costume party. While the paparazzi continued to click their pictures, Babil complained to Huma, saying, “Usne phone bhi nahi uthaaya mera.” Huma tried to steer the conversation away, and replied with a smile, “Later we will talk haa.” However, Babil pressed further, asking, “Wo gussa hai mujhse?” Huma seemed annoyed with Babil, and she replied, “I have no idea. Sorry.” Post this, he left, while the actress and her friend posed together for the paparazzi. Huma was then heard telling her friend, “I want to slap that boy.” The video has left fans speculating what the drama was all about. A Reddit user shared the video on BollyBlindsNGossip, and wrote, “This conversation between Huma and Babil is so painfully awkward to watch—by the end, it looked like she wanted to run as far away from him as possible.”
One netizen was curious to know who they were talking about, and commented, “Kisne phone nai uthaya,” while another one wrote, “Who gussa hai mujhse?! Wth is going on also someone please ya tell what’s this event!!”
Meanwhile, many other stars including Wamiqa Gabbi, Tanisha Mukerji, Sushmita Sen and others were also spotted at this costume party.
On the work front, Huma will be next seen in the courtroom drama film Jolly LLB 3 which also stars Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi in lead roles. Apart from that, she also has Toxic with South star Yash, director Vipul Goyal’s Gulaabi and an investigative drama Bayaan in her kitty. She also has Maharani 4 in the pipeline.
Meanwhile, Babil Khan will next be seen in ‘Logout’, a thrilling mystery drama directed by Amit Golani and written by Biswapati Sarkar. The film, which also stars Rasika Dugal, explores digital dependence. It premieres on Zee5 on April 18, 2025.
