Salman Khan’s action-packed entertainer may have seen a slight dip in collections on Day 14, but it’s not backing down just yet. The film has managed to cross the Rs 108 crore mark at the box office. Just as predicted, Sikandar’s box office numbers were affected this Saturday, especially with Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda’s Jaat hitting screens over the weekend. While Jaat is catering to a pan-India audience, Sikandar is currently limited to just the Hindi-speaking belt, which might be impacting its reach.
According to early evening estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk, Sikandar brought in around Rs 21 lakh on Day 14 (April 12), marking an 8.7 per cent dip from its Friday earnings. On April 11, the film had managed a much healthier Rs 23 crore across all languages in India. While the numbers have slowed down heading into the third week, the film’s overall collection still holds strong.
Sikandar’s total box office collection stands at an estimated Rs 108.31 crore. However, the film’s momentum seems to be slowing down, with an overall occupancy of just 8.07 per cent across India on April 12.
As of Day 13 (Friday), Salman Khan’s Sikandar had racked up some solid numbers. The film’s India net collection stood at Rs 107.10 crore, while its gross collection across the country touched Rs 128.35 crore. On the global front, Sikandar pulled in a whopping Rs 177.85 crore worldwide, with overseas markets alone contributing Rs 49.5 crore. Despite a recent slowdown, the film’s overall performance continues to look strong.
Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the action-packed film features a star-studded cast, including Kajal Aggarwal, Suniel Shetty, Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, and Sharman Joshi. The story follows Salman’s character, Sikandar, on a relentless mission to seek justice and protect the three individuals who received organ donations from his late wife.
