Following Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s recent visit to Tirumala, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced a series of transformative initiatives aimed at enhancing the pilgrimage experience. In a review meeting with the TTD Governing Council and officials in Amaravati, Naidu highlighted the need to improve facilities for devotees, including streamlined ticket bookings, accommodation allotments, and real-time updates on temple activities.

As part of these reforms, TTD is launching WhatsApp-based services to make temple-related services more accessible and efficient. This move aligns with the Andhra Pradesh government’s broader e-governance strategy, which has already enabled various civic services, such as caste and income certificates, through WhatsApp.

“TTD has integrated 15 services on WhatsApp. We’ve submitted the details to the state government, and they will update the options accordingly. Our aim is to reduce wait times for ticket bookings, accommodation, and other services, enabling devotees to book directly through the TTD website,” said Venkateswarlu Naidu, Deputy GM of the IT Wing at TTD.
