Rashmika Mandanna is having the best time of her life. The actress has not only taken over the regional cinema, but she has also been making waves in Bollywood. Recently, she starred in yet another major hit of Indian cinema, Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava. In it, she played the role of Maharani Yesubai. So, when the creme-de-la-creme of Bollywood gathered together to celebrate 20 years of Maddock Films– the studio behind Chhaava, Rashmika decided to be there in full glam.

Taking to her Instagram account, she shared a picture on her stories, which was originally posted by Chhaava’s associate director, Jatin Bajaj. In the photo, the latter was flanked by Rashmika and Vicky, and the trio flaunted their warm smiles as they posed for the camera.

He posted it writing, “With the king and queen,” followed by a series of red heart, kiss face emojis and king and queen emoticons. He even tagged the two actors on the post and played Chhaava’s track Aaya Re Toofan. Rashmika re-posted the picture with a string of hug face emojis and a red heart.

For the event, Rashmika looked breathtakingly beautiful in a deep cherry-red dress. The strapless velvet gown came with a plunging neckline, a chic gathered detailing on the bust, a back slit and a figure-hugging silhouette. The actress kept her makeup glam and paired her look with statement earrings, strappy heels and rings.

On the other hand, her Chhaava co-star Vicky looked dapper as usual in a black tee and well-fitted trousers layered with a blue shirt, whereas the associate director kept it casual in a blue shirt paired with white trousers.

Speaking of Chhaava, the historical drama directed by Laxman Utekar has now officially become the second highest-grossing Hindi film of the year, surpassing Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2. According to Sacnilk, the film based on the life of Sambhaji Maharaj, the second ruler of the Maratha Empire, has grossed over Rs 800 crore worldwide since its release on February 14.

After Chhaava, Rashmika was seen in Salman Khan starrer Sikandar. Next, she has the multi-language social thriller Kuberaa, opposite Nagarjuna and Dhanush. Then, the 29-year-old actress will also be seen in Maddock Films’ fifth instalment in their horror comedy universe Thama, starring Ayushmann Khurrana.
