The makers of the upcoming period Punjabi action film Akaal: The Unconquered, featuring Gippy Grewal, hosted a grand screening of their film on Monday night in Mumbai. The event was indeed star-studded as the who’s who of showbiz marked their presence on the red carpet. Among all was TV and Punjabi actress Jasmin Bhasin, who attended the premiere along with her boyfriend Aly Goni.
In one of the videos surfacing on social media, Jasmin and Aly are seen striking a pose on the red carpet in front of the shutterbugs stationed at the premiere. As it progresses, we see the Naagin 4 actress posing for a solo picture.
Jasmin exuded desi girl vibes in a purple and silver traditional Patiala suit, while Aly looked dapper in a black jacket paired with a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

Based on sikh warriors, Akaal is written and directed by Gippy Grewal and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. It features Gippy himself along with Gurpreet Ghuggi, Nimrat Khaira, Shinda Grewal, Nikitin Dheer, Mita Vasisht, Ekom Grewal and more in significant roles. It marks Karan Johar’s debut as a producer in Punjabi cinema.
The forthcoming historical epic is set for a grand release in both Punjabi and Hindi languages on April 10. It will face a big box office clash with Sunny Deol’s upcoming action entertainer Jaat.
Speaking about his first collaboration with Dharma, Gippy had earlier stated, “I am passionate about bringing the stories of our Sikh warriors to the screen. With Dharma Productions’ help, we can ensure that Akaal crosses linguistic borders and reaches every corner of India, showing the strength and bravery of our heritage.”
Coming back to Jasmin and Aly, the duo is one of the most adored couples in the TV industry. They made their relationship official during their time in Salman Khan’s controversial reality show Bigg Boss 14.
On the work front, Jasmin has appeared in several popular shows, including Dil Se Dil Tak, Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji and Naagin 4, among others. She made her Punjabi film debut in 2022 with the film Honeymoon, which also starred Gippy Grewal in the lead.
Aly, on the other hand, was last seen in the cooking-based reality show Laughter Chefs: Unlimited Entertainment.
