Ram Navami Celebrations In Ayodhya LIVE: Thousands of devotees thronged Ayodhya’s Ram Temple on the occasion of Ram Navami on Sunday morning. Many took a holy dip in the Saryu River before visiting the temple.
At noon, marking the birth time of Ram Lalla, several special rituals, including Abhishek, Shringar, Aarti, and Chappan Bhog will be performed at the temple.
Ram Navami will also be marked by the grand Surya Tilak of Ram Lalla, a unique celestial phenomenon that occurs annually on this auspicious day.
The event will be held at Ayodhya’s Ram Temple, where a focused beam of sunlight will fall precisely on the forehead of the Ram Lalla idol at noon, symbolising a divine tilak from the Sun God.
Ram Navmi is celebrated across India every year on the last day of Chaitra Navaratri to mark the birth of Lord Rama. On this day, young girls, representing the nine forms of the goddess Durga, are offered gifts and prasad at temples and households.
