Actor-choreographer Dhanashree Verma dropped stunning photos of herself on Friday, April 4. Flaunting her radiant skin, she wrote a caption that screamed self-love! This comes days after her divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal was finalised by Bandra Family Court.
“It’s okay to stop and stare,” wrote Dhanashree, while flexing her good skin days. In a plain black tank top, she flaunted her flawless no-makeup look. Take a look at the pictures here:
Fans took to the comment section and praised Dhanashree. They dropped comments such as “Crush”, “Prettiest”, “Aap itane cute kuu hoo yaar”, “Beauty queen”.
Of late, Dhanashree has been receiving onlike flak for accepting a sum of Rs 4.75 crore as alimony after her divorce with Yuzvendra. She was brutally trolled on social media for the same. In one her posts, fans wrote, “Mam amount credit ho gya account m 4.75cr?”, “Gairo ke paiso se video shoot karate dekha, “Aapda ko avsar me badal diya”, “If asking for dowry is a crime, then so is for alimony,” and others.
The two got married in December 2020, and were reportedly living separately for 18 months before they were granted divorce. Confirming the development, Chahal’s advocate, Nitin Kumar Gupta, told ANI, “The court has granted the divorce, and both parties are no longer husband and wife.”
Other reports stated that Dhanashree seeked a Rs 60 crore alimony from the cricketer. However, her family strongly dismissed the speculations via an official statement. A part of it read: “No such amount has ever been asked, demanded, or even offered. There is no truth to these rumors whatsoever.” Later, a Bar and Bench report confirmed that the alimony amount is Rs 4.75 crore, with Chahal already having paid Rs 2.37 crore.
Meanwhile, Dhanashree Verma dropped her latest work, a music video titled Dekha Ji Dekha Maine, the same day her divorce was granted. The song explores infidelity and toxic relationships. Interestingly, it was around the same time her ex-husband Yuzvendra Chahal would be publicly spotted with RJ Mahvash at stadiums enjoying cricket matches together.
