Lucknow Eidgah Imam, Maulana Khalid Rasheed Firangi Mahali said, “The moon has been sighted today, i.e. on March 30 and Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on March 31. Namaz will be offered at 10 am in Lucknow Eidgah…”

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia and UAE celebrated Eid today as the moon was sighted on March 29 in these nations. Saudi authorities on Saturday declared that the crescent moon for the month of Shawwal 1446 was sighted in the country and the Arab country observed the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr today.

Eid-ul-Fitr, also called the “festival of breaking the fast,” marks the conclusion of Ramadan, during which devotees fast from dawn to dusk.
