BTS’ Jung Hoseok, better known as J-Hope, made a splashing comeback, and he has been making sure that the world knows it. After months of quiet following his military discharge, the K-pop powerhouse has stormed back into the music scene with a world tour and new music. But just when his fans thought that the excitement could not get any bigger, he dropped a surprise that took the internet by storm – his recommended playlist.

J-Hope, the man of the hour, recently sat for an interview with Weverse Magazine. The BTS rapper and dancer gave fans a glimpse into the music which had been inspiring him lately, which was shared in the article published by the outlet. And among the handpicked tracks was BLACKPINK Lisa’s song New Woman, feat. Rosalia, on the list.

After this list surfaced on social media, the internet could not keep calm as no one saw a BTS x BLACKPINK crossover coming. Fans of both fandoms were left buzzing with excitement over this unexpected crossover between two of the biggest names in the K-pop industry. In no time, they took to X to share their thoughts.

One fan said, “Jhope’s playlist includes New Woman by Lisa, Omg Where are my armyblinks???”

Another added, “Hobi is giving us bang-pink crumbs every week.”

After J-hope shared his recommended playlist, a section of fans also wanted the BTS star to do a dance collab with BLACKPINK’s Lisa, given both are dancers for their respective groups.

“I need Hope-Lisa Mona Lisa dance challenge ASAP,” wrote a different fan.

Other than Lisa’s song, J-Hope’s list featured hits like Lil Wayne’s How To Love, Rihanna’s Diamonds, Gigi Perez’s Sailor Song, John Mayer’s Slow Dancing In A Burning Room, Gracie Abrams’s Alright, Pharrell Williams’s Freedom, J-Hope’s NEURON (feat. Gaeko, yoonmirae), and CODE KUNST’s CIRCLE (Feat. Crush).

Speaking of J-Hope’s work front, the 31-year-old K-pop idol has been making waves ever since he stepped back into the limelight. To make his comeback more memorable, he embarked on his first-ever solo world tour, HOPE ON THE STAGE, which began on February 28 in Seoul, South Korea and is scheduled to conclude in Japan on June 1. Apart from the tour, he has also released two back-to-back singles. The first is Sweet Dreams, feat. Miguel, and the second one is Mona Lisa.
