Bollywood diva Malaika Arora can be rightfully called the undefeated dancing queen, and we’ve got enough evidence. Right from dancing on the top of a train in Chhaiya Chhaiya to enchanting fans with tracks like Maahi Ve, Munni Badnaam Hui, Hoth Rasiley and Anarkali Disco Chali, Malaika has dropped bangers to cherish for a lifetime. A recent video drops a glimpse of Malaika’s behind-the-scenes preparation for her dance numbers.
Bratpack Studios dropped the video on his official Instagram handle, tagging the actress in the post. “SUPERHIT Saturdays,” the caption read.
With the popular Munni Badnaam Hui playing in the background, one can see Malaika on the sets of films like Dabangg, Welcome and Housefull 2, practicing her steps and coordinating with the choreographers and other background dancers. As soon as the video came out, fans couldn’t help but gush over Malaika’s amazing dance moves and her timeless songs.
One wrote, “Ohhh damn the moves,” while another called her, “THE OG.”
On the work front, Malaika, who is now seen as a judge on Hip Hop Season 2, made headlines after reprimanding a contestant for his inappropriate dancing on the show. On the March 14 episode of Hip Hop Season 2, Naveen Shah, the 16-year-old contestant from Uttar Pradesh, came for an audition, only to leave Malaika losing her cool. During the performance, Naveen allegedly made certain suggestive gestures toward Malaika that made her upset and prompted a stern reaction.
“Please give me your mother’s phone number. You are a 16-year-old kid. While dancing, he is looking at me and winking, blowing flying kisses,” she said after the performance. The promo for the episode has gone viral on social media, with many supporting Malaika for her schooling the boy.
Amazon MX Player’s Hip Hop Season 2 follows the journey of eleven hip-hop dance acts, giving them a platform to showcase their talent. While Manisha Rani and Wicked Sunny take on the hosting duties, Malaika will be seen alongside Remo D’Souza. Prior to this, Malaika has also been a part of other dance reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, India’s Best Dancer and India’s Got Talent.
