Indian-origin chef Depinder Chhibber is popular for her impressive stint in MasterChef Australia Season 13. In delightful news, she is now set to make a comeback to the show. The chef herself announced her return to the upcoming 17th season of the popular cooking reality show in a post shared on Instagram. Posing for an endearing solo photo in a white apron that featured the iconic logo of the show and Depinder’s name, the chef shared the good news.

Depinder’s note accompanying the post read, “Back to win! MasterChef Australia changed my life forever and here we are….at it again,” read the text attached to the post.

MasterChef India 2023 finalist Gurkirat Singh commented on the post. Sharing her excitement, he wrote, “Wohoooo super excited.” MasterChef Australia 2021 participant Tom Levick, too, shared his reaction and added, “Yayyy love you.” MasterChef Australia 2023 contestant Rue Tendom also joined in to shower love on the chef and commented, “Love you beb.”

Interestingly, MasterChef Australia Season 17 will mark the return of some of the most beloved contestants from Season 1 to Season 16, providing them another opportunity to take on intense challenges and secure the coveted trophy. These contestants include Alana Lowes, Andre Ursini, Audra Morrice, Beau Cook, Ben Macdonald, Callum Hann, Cath Collins, Darrsh Clarke, Declan Cleary, Jamie Fleming, Jimmy Wong, Laura Sharrad, Matt Hopcraft, Pete Campbell, Rhiannon Anderson, Rue Mupedzi, Samira El Khafir, Sarah Todd, Savindri Perera, Snezana Calic, Steph De Sousa, Theo Loizou and Tim Bone.

Moreover, Andy Allen, Poh Ling-Yeow, Jean-Christophe Novelli and Sofia Levin will be seen judging the culinary skills of the contestants participating in the upcoming season of the cooking-based show.

Depinder Chhibber’s stint on MasterChef Australia earned her immense fame and love from food enthusiasts across the world. Earlier, she told The Times Of India, “MasterChef Australia 13 has been a life-changing experience. I have had the opportunity to meet so many chefs I look up to, cook in different kitchens, and run workshops. It’s been phenomenal. Showcasing Indian food has been a privilege for me.”

Depinder Chhibber made a special appearance as a guest judge on MasterChef India in 2023.
