Shweta Tiwari and Palak Tiwari are one of the most adored mother-daughter duos in the entertainment world, often praised for their close bond and playful camaraderie. Apart from Palak, Shweta also has a son, Reyansh, born in 2016. In a throwback conversation with Pinkvilla, Shweta revealed her reasons for wanting a baby boy after having Palak and shared an amusing anecdote about her daughter’s lavish shopping habits.
During the interview, Shweta recalled being pregnant with Reyansh when Palak was 16 years old. Reflecting on a particular incident, Shweta shared, “On her 16th birthday, she went out and shopped for makeup worth Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand, such expensive products. Each eye shadow was for Rs 7k to 8k.” Defending herself, Palak added, “To be fair, I really researched.”
Following this extravagant shopping spree, Shweta humorously admitted that she informed her family about her desire to have a son. “I can’t afford so much. I cannot have another daughter,” she said, expressing her lighthearted concern over managing the cost of raising another girl.
In the same conversation, Palak also reminisced about her childhood days when she would sometimes call Shweta ‘didi’ because of her youthful appearance. Despite being mother and daughter, their bond feels more like that of best friends. The duo often shares reels and glamorous photos, winning hearts on social media with their stylish looks and adorable interactions.
