Shark Tank India Season 4 attracted viewers with its intriguing pitches and informative business discussions. The show aired its finale episode recently and made it even more interesting as industrialist Srikanth Bolla and Jeet Adani appeared as a guest Sharks. Among the intriguing pitches, there was one involving a mother with her two daughters that made everyone emotional. Anupam Mittal was seen quite keen to crack the deal while the pitcher requested for a joint deal.
Shweta Runwal pitched her brand Tickle Your Art on the stage. She mentioned that her daughters, Dhriti and Ira Ranka, are the driving force behind the startup. Dhriti has Down Syndrome and this helped Shweta ideate the brand. She is an architect by profession, and merged her experience with Dhriiti’s passion for painting to establish this. They sell high-end lifestyle products such as stationery, jewelry, home decor, corporate giving and other items created by artists with Down Syndrome. Namita Thapar instantly removes her earrings to wear the ones they gave her. Anupam Mittal also enquires about the pendant the children are wearing, and he liked the concept of the kind eye locket, which is the polar opposite of the evil eye we usually see.
While all the sharks were quite impressed with the products, Anupam Mittal is the first to offer a bid. Aman Gupta also offered what the pitcher requested. Namita Thapar declined, stating that the pitcher has already received two good offers. But she mentioned that she would make a donation and offered a partnership with a jewelry firm she’s mentoring.
The pitcher then requested that Aman Gupta and Anupam Mittal come together for the deal. But the latter reacted saying, “I do not have a problem. I’ll tell you why. Mera bahut selfish reason bhi hai isme. Something has woken up in me and I have a selfish reason. I want to continue to be in touch with these girls and you. So, I have no problem.” Later, Aman said that he and Anupam are in it together. The pitcher received a deal of Rs 21.3 lakh for 7% equity.
