Celebrity MasterChef’s recent episode was perfectly blended with humour and heartfelt conversations on love and relationships. Hosted by Farah Khan, this cooking-based reality show featured Hina Khan and her boyfriend, Rocky Jaiswal, as special guests. The two divided the contestants into Ladkiwale and Ladkewale and decided their wedding menu to assign the tasks. Discussing marriage and love, Farah Khan jumped into the conversation and started asking about contestant Tejasswi Prakash’s wedding plan with her longtime boyfriend, Karan Kundrra.
Tejasswi, who has impressed both judges and the audience with her cooking skills, opened up about her marriage plans with Karan. Farah Khan asked about their preferred way of marrying each other, as Karan is a Punjabi and Tejasswi is a Maharashtrian. The Naagin 6 actress wasn’t shy to reveal her marriage plans, she said, “I am not big on that. I am okay with a normal court marriage. Hum log phir ghumenge, phirenge aish karenge types (We will then roam and have fun).”
In her honest reaction, Tejasswi made it very clear that she would rather tie the knot in a simple way than organise a big fat wedding. The topic of discussion then turned to the first meeting between Tejaswi and Karan. The Bigg Boss 15 winner revealed that they both met on a reality show when Hina Khan inquisitively asked about their romantic love story. “We met on a reality show. It was during a Diwali sequence. We were dancing and went towards each other to wish Happy Diwali, and something just happened,” she added.
Farah, who never misses a chance to quip, asked, “Phir patakhe phoote (So, did fireworks go off)?” Tejasswi replied, “Yes! I’m not kidding. Everyone around us was busy exchanging greetings, but for five minutes, we just stood still.” Hina also jokingly said, “Now everyone will start hugging each other to see if there’s a spark!”
As conversion spiced up the love and relationships, Farah Khan also shared how she fell in love with filmmaker Shirish Kunder. She revealed, “Honestly, I couldn’t stand him for six months! He would edit pictures and annoy me a lot. But when I saw his work, I was truly impressed. I guess, for me, respect for someone’s work is key to falling in love.” Farah revealed that the funny thing about their relationship is that they never proposed. “We just got married, had kids, and now they’re 17—and still, no proposal!” She added.
