Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava is a marathon runner that simply refuses to stop! Even on Day 31, this historical action drama is still flexing its muscles at the box office. After a roaring start, Chhaava holds its ground despite fresh releases. Fans are still queuing up to watch Vicky bring the legendary Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj to life with all the swag and intensity you’d expect.
With Chhaava still going full throttle, the film has raked in a massive Rs 560.67 crore India net, according to early estimates by Sacnilk. And guess what? It’s all set to smash past the Rs 600 crore mark by the end of the day.
As of Sunday, March 16 (Day 31), Chhaava had already pocketed a solid Rs 6.02 crore. Sure, Chhaava’s numbers may have dipped a bit compared to its earlier days, but let’s be real—it’s still miles ahead of the latest releases. In fact, its Day 31 earnings are way stronger than what John Abraham’s The Diplomat and other newcomers are pulling in.
Here’s how Chhaava has been stacking up at the box office week by week, and let’s just say—it’s been a wild ride!
Week 1: Rs 219.25 crore
Week 2: Rs 180.25 crore
Week 3: Rs 84.05 crore
Week 4: Rs 55.95 crore
And it’s official—Chhaava has roared past Animal! Vicky Kaushal’s historical epic has now overtaken the domestic box office collection of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s 2023 blockbuster, which starred Ranbir Kapoor. Animal wrapped up its theatrical run with Rs 553.87 crore across all five languages (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam), but Chhaava has now charged ahead.
So far, Chhaava has minted a whopping Rs 560.67 crore in India (net), while its worldwide collection has soared to Rs 750.50 crore! Of that, Rs 89.20 crore comes from overseas markets.
